Excel 2010 For Mac Won't Stop Talking
Have no idea how to explain this and it may require a video if no one understands what I am talking about. So I am working in Excel 2010 on a relatively small couple of spreadsheets. I am ALT+TAB 'ing between them. When I go to one, it will look sort of like excel flickers and my some of my lines will disappear and the data will disappear.

The cells in the first column are a list of store numbers and should all be center aligned but for some reason a few of them are left aligned. Unfortunately I only have Leopard Profiles; I didn't run System Profiler while the computers still had Leopard on them. Thank you for your interest and support on this! Thanks, David Pat McMillan 13/6/2008, 15:19 น. Thanks for the report, David. I've replied to your offline mail to me too, but for the benefit of the group: We have investigated this and believe it is a problem with Apple's Rosetta emulation software for running non-native applications on Intel. The issue I'm running into is that, even when the primary cell is left blank, the cells that populate from that primary cell will display 0, rather than remaining blank themselves. I want the subordinate cells to remain blank if the primary cell they're linked to is blank. Here are three answers: 1) Letting other.cell.reference represent the reference formula that you currently have after the = (e.g., Sheet17!$H$42), replace that link reference with =IF( other.cell.reference ', other.cell.reference, ') 2) Set the “Number” format of your linked cells to “Custom”: General;–General. 3) In “Excel Options”, “Advanced” page, “Display options for this worksheet” section, clear the “Show a zero in cells that have a zero value” checkbox. Warning: this will cause all zeroes in the worksheet to disappear. @Iszi: Regarding the first option: I’m not talking about entering a formula twice. As per the original question, I’m talking about a situation where Q1 contains a (really long) formula and A1 contains =Q1; we want to change A1 to =IF(Q1', Q1, '), which you should never need to change again.
Method 3 – Change Recalculation Option If you can’t open the file at all, you can try a couple of more things. Firstly, try setting the recalculation option in Excel to manual. You can do this by going to Tools, Options and clicking on the Calculation tab. In the Calculation section, go ahead and choose Manual. If you are using Excel 2007 or higher, the procedure is different. You have to click on the Office button at the top left, then choose Excel Options. Click on Formulas and then click on Manual under the Calculation options section.
Luckily the Paste icon is located in the same position on the Excel 2011 Home tab, but in the Edit Group. The other items in the Clipboard group — Cut, Copy, Format Painter — don’t have a counterpart in the Excel 2011 Ribbon, but rather you can find them on the Standard Toolbar.
