QBO Plus may be the best program for what you need–the only major downside is the terrible customer service. If you’re seeking alternatives, take a look at Zoho Books and see if it might be a good fit. (Review; the company’s added some pretty cool stuff since Sept., so I’ll be updating this soon–in the meantime, if the software’s missing a feature you want, double check the to see if it’s been added in the last 5 months.) The things I’m doing are all standard, basic accounting type stuff. I’m really frustrated, and worried about what hell I’m going to go through trying to transition back to QB desktop. I will NEVER use the Quickbooks Payment Processing company again. I’m immediately closing my account and looking for another service. But before I clicked the Buy button, I saw the fine print about licensing, which changed my mind. The Mac and Windows versions of QuickBooks 2013 cost the same—$250—for a single-user license. But we would have two users—my wife and I would both need to work in QuickBooks, sometimes concurrently, on different computers.
